What should I know before buying this monitor?

1, Please make sure your laptop has two full-featured Type-C ports.

2, Laptops without full-featured Type-C port need connected via HDMI to MINI-HDMI and USB A to USB C cable.

3, Not suppot bluetooth. Not WIFI connection. No battery. Not touchscreen.

What is each cable used for?

1, USB C to USB A cable, only for power supply.

2, USB C to USB C cable, for power supply & video output.

3, MINI-HDMI to HDMI cable, only for video output.

Note: For HDMI connection, pls use USB C to USB A cable to power up the monitor.

Only one monitor works, the other doesn’t?

1. If it lights up and shows ‘No Signal’, just connect an HDMI to MINI-HDMI cable to the “DP” port for it.

2. If it doesn’t light up at all, it means that there is no power supply. Connect the USB cable to the Type-C port for power.

I have charged the monitor for several hours. Why does it fail to turn on and show “no signal”?

POTTMACEE Laptop Screen Extender does not come with a built-in battery.

Please connect the monitor with your device (like laptop, PC, Switch etc.) via [USB C to USB C cable] or [MINI HDMI to HDMI cable] & [USB C to USB A cable] for usage.

What if I don’t have enough ports on my laptop?

If the number of ports is not enough, you can choose to expand the number of ports with a port docking station.or you can enquire us for further solutions.

Useful Tips: The laptop multiple screens attachment works with Windows, ChromeOS, Linux, and Full-Featured Type-C phones. In addition, the portable monitor for laptop is compatible with MacBooks equipped with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, but not MacBooks equipped with the M1 or M2 / M3 chip.
