For damp hair, use a wooden pin brush which is designed for wet hair to minimize damage. Damp hair. Start from the bottom – Begin brushing at the ends, gradually working your way up to the roots. This prevents pulling and minimizes tangles.
Brush in Sections: If your hair is thick or tangled, it’s easier to separate it into sections and work through each part methodically. For a perfect styling it is necassary to style the hair in sections.
Dry hair: Stroke from the roots to the bottom of the hair. The natural hair sebum which is rich with natural oil can be spread to the bottom of the hair which often is dryer than the parts near the roots.
Brush Maintenance: Clean Your Brushes Regularly: Hairbrushes can accumulate hair, oils, and product buildup. Clean them every 1-2 weeks (or more often if needed) by removing hair strands and washing them with warm, soapy water. Check for Damage: Make sure the bristles are not bent or broken. Replace brushes that have become worn out to ensure proper care for your hair.
Warnings Avoid Brushing Too Aggressively: Gentle brushing is key, especially for curly or fine hair, to avoid causing split ends or excessive breakage.
